This is a digital painting from an original photograph taken in 2018. Rainbow over a cornfield. This was taken near Kearney, which is the county seat of Buffalo County, Nebraska, United States. It sits in the middle south of the state. Kearney is also the culture center of the entire state. Theatricals, stage performances, and music, all happen regularly in this town. The arts are alive and well in Nebraska. I was traveling by car and saw this rainbow over the cornfield. It reminded me of the blessings of America’s Breadbasket.
