50 Home is featured in the book of poetry entitled Winged Soul (available on Amazon.) It’s part of a collection of over 50 images that will be presented here for the first time. This is number 50.
This collection was photographed from my backyard that overlooked the Inland Water Trail in Palmetto Bluff, SC. It was during the cold months as the birds had migrated south. My hands froze in place around my camera and my feet were numb as I sat outside for hours waiting to capture Nature’s Ballet. Each image, except this one, is named after a ballet movement as a remembrance of the grace and beauty shared by these birds. This image is named after the place where one can fold up one's wings, and relax in the warmth and love of home.
