11 Glissade iis featured in the book of poetry entitled Winged Soul (available on Amazon) and this image won an international Excellence in Photography award in 2015. It’s part of a collection of over 50 images that will be presented here for the first time.
This collection was photographed from my backyard that overlooked the Inland Water Trail in Palmetto Bluff, SC. It was during the cold months as the birds had migrated south. My hands froze in place around my camera and my feet were numb as I sat outside for hours waiting to capture Nature’s Ballet. Each image is named after a ballet movement as a remembrance of the grace and beauty shared by these birds.
