Winged Soul - Egrets in Flight. "Birds in flight present a technical challenge in that there are two types of motion going on. A forward motion as they get from place to place and the wing motion that's moving at a different speed. That, combined with the challenges of wild, fast subjects that won't cooperate plus lighting, weather, bugs, snakes and alligators makes these shots a challenge to obtain. Especially when you don't want standard, full-color nature photography but you want the form, function and the moment—I call it Nature's Ballet—to outshine everything else."
